Trentino (Italy): Birth allowance, increases of up to 100 euros per month

Increase support for families during the first three years of their children’s lives and protect the purchasing power of those who benefit only from quota C of the Provincial Single Allowance. With these aims in mind, the provincial government’s decision to increase the amounts of the provincial birth allowance up to a maximum of 100 euros per month, based on the ICEF indicator.

With the decision to increase the financial endowment of this instrument – which is added to the national birth allowance, paid by the State for the first 12 months of life – the Council continues its action aimed at supporting the birth rate and the ability of families to meet expenses during the first 36 months of your children’s life.

The birth allowance is paid by the State for the first 12 months of life of newborns and is included in the single and universal allowance, while the provincial birth allowance targets those born in the years from 2022 to 2024 for the second and third year of life, in analogy with what was done for children born in 2020 and 2021.
