Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Barbara Socha to the position of the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy and the Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy.
This is a new position established by the ordinance of the Council of Ministers of 27 November this year. The Plenipotentiary’s tasks will include drawing up a draft demographic strategy. Its goal is to increase fertility rate and promote a traditional family model, as well as to initiate activities to disseminate good practices conducive to family development.
