
Trzebnica is a Polish urban-rural municipality in the Trzebnica District in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
The entire municipality covers an area of 200.19 km² and in 2004 had 21,768 inhabitants.
The capital city alone covers an area of 8.35 km2 and in 2005 had 12,227 inhabitants (for a density of 1,463 inhabitants per km2).
Here stands the ancient Cistercian abbey founded by Saint Hedwig, which later became the mother house of the Borromean nuns.
