Grodzisk Mazowiecki is a community that numbers among most dynamically developing centers in the vicinity of Warsaw. Grodzisk is attractively located, in the center of Poland, in the proximity of Warsaw, and it is perceived as the place where it is worthwhile to be, live and do business. The total population of the community is approx. 45 000. The commune is growing rapidly and becoming a destination of choice for young people who wish to settle here. During the recent year the number of people living in the commune has been steadily growing. More and more children are being bom here, and the local authorities strive to provide the best care for the young families by building new residential buildings, kindergartens and schools.
A very important tool in the local family policy is the large family support program introduced in 2008. It has implemented a system of allowances and benefits for families with multiple children using a Big Family Card.
