Druento stands on a plain tending towards hills between the Givoletta mountains and the plain hosting Turin. It is part of that set of municipalities that make up the first western belt of the Turin suburbs. The city is bathed by the Ceronda torrent into which, just north of the capital, the Casternone flows.
Druento is divided into different areas and villages and has a “historic” center that is visibly different in terms of construction from the new areas on which numerous condominiums are located. Druento shares the La Mandria regional park with other municipalities.
The Municipality of Druento has created a tourist guide and a map of the town [3] which can be downloaded free of charge from the institutional website of the Municipality. For some years now, in Viale Medici del Vascello, a few meters from the entrance to the La Mandria Park, an area dedicated to campers has been set up, equipped with every comfort, and there are many tourists who use it to access the Park or visit the nearby Reggia di Venaria. For those who are interested in visiting the La Mandria Park by bicycle, there is a bike rental service in the camper parking area in Viale Medici del Vascello.
