Ādažu district is part of the internationally competitive area of the Riga metropolis, in the central part of Latvia, north of the city of Riga. Ādaži county consists of 22 territorial units, including the city – Ādaži and 2 parishes (Ādažu and Carnikavas). The administrative center of Adaži county is the city of Adaži. As in previous years, the population of Ādaži county continues to grow. We started the year 2025 with 24,686 declared inhabitants.
Proximity to the capital, nature, waters and important transport highways make the county attractive both to residents and to businesses, firmly ranking Ādaži county among the fastest growing counties not only in terms of population, incl. in terms of the number of learners, but also in terms of attracted investments. During the past ten years, the number of residents in the county has grown significantly, allowing us to predict that in 2025 the number of residents will also have a growing trend, mainly as a result of internal migration. The information provided by the registry office of Adaži district confirms that in 2024 the birth rates were also positive, and the birth rates exceed the mortality statistics. In 2024, 142 marriages were concluded and 188 newborns were registered.
