A step forward thanks to technology: The Italian Large Families Association ANFN has developed a new app that will replace the old paper membership card.
The advantages for members are several: – as soon as you renew your membership, you have the card on your smartphone; you can check your data anytime and you can tell the association if you have changed your email address and can’t remember if you sent it to the secretary’s office.
There are also big advantages for the association that is going to save the cost of printing, stamping and sending the cards, while avoiding the risk that the card gets lost. All this at the cost of a few megabytes of space in the member’s mobile phone.
This first version will allow to view the data stored in the ANFN archives: that is, the composition of the family and the list of renewals made over the years.
In the next versions, the App will be enriched with new features that will allow greater interactions: from the consultation of the agreements, to the notifications on the association activities and will allow you to proceed independently with the registry changes.
