The Regional Department for Family Policies of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region (Italy) has launched a three-year plan injecting a record-breaking €493 million into targeted family support measures between 2026 and 2028.

This unprecedented funding, further bolstered by additional regional administrative resources, is specifically designed to provide concrete financial stability to local households.
The comprehensive details of the budget were unveiled today during a press conference held by Regional Governor Massimiliano Fedriga and the Regional Councillor for Family Policies, Alessia Rosolen. Among the wide-reaching initiatives, the regional government announced two groundbreaking, high-impact financial lines.
The Direct Maternity Support (€57 million)
It is adedicated fund established to support new mothers across the region. This initiative will provide a monthly financial subsidy throughout the first twelve months of a child’s life, directly alleviating the immediate economic pressures of early parenthood.
Housing Autonomy for Young Mothers (€82 million)
A strategic fund aimed at fostering independence for young families. This measure will offer non-repayable grants to mothers under the age of 30 to assist them in purchasing their first home, ensuring long-term residential stability.
