The World Family Organization, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research – UNITAR in partnership with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the United Nations Division for Inclusive Sustainable Development, the United Nations, the United Nations Financing for Sustainable Development Office and the United Nations NGO Branch, have the honor to invite you to the World Family Summit 2022, which also will celebrate the World Family Organization 75th Anniversary.

In launching the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development the United Nations Member States and the Society as a whole recognized that the dignity of the individual is fundamental and the Agenda’s goals and targets should be met for all nations and people and for all segments of society. Leaving no one behind is the overarching principle and transforming the Agenda’s commitments into effective actions requires a precise understanding of the target population. Women, men, children, youth, older persons, persons with disability, people living with HIV, indigenous people, refugees, internally displaced persons and migrants, all of them have in common the fact that they belong to a Family living at Local Level.

Supporting local authorities and families to implement the Agenda 2030 with all its 17 SDGs is an exceptional opportunity to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis by promoting better community integration with the public sector leading to renewed hope, harmony, growth and job creation while ensuring sustainability.
