Webinar – Family Friendly Municipalities: Strategic Planning and Aims

The Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, within the framework of policies aimed at families, promotes the establishment of a family network open to all Public Administrations, Third Sector entities and private entities to enhance and disseminate good practices that place the family at the centre. This is the starting point for the collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento, promoter of the ‘National Network of Family Friendly Municipalities’, which provides the methodology of the new public family management and specialist know-how.
The collaboration took concrete form with a training course, just concluded and preparatory to the certification as ‘Family Friendly Municipality’, which saw the participation of thirteen municipalities in the region and which formed the figure of the Municipality Family Manager.
The meeting therefore aims to promote the second edition of the training course, but also to raise awareness of the Family in Europe Network, which was set up in 2018 in the wake of the Italian network and which now numbers sixty-six municipalities in eight European countries and whose aim is to create a network in Europe as well to promote policies in favour of family welfare.
