Mapineq invites you to a discussion on the growing regional disparities and how to break the vicious cycle many local communities find themselves in: population decline, youth outmigration, shrinking resources, and the dismantling of essential services. In addition, many of these areas are increasingly associated with populist movements and anti-migration sentiment, further reducing their attractiveness for newcomers and investment.
How can these communities break free from this cycle? Can they become appealing enough to retain younger residents while also attracting new ones? Join our expert speakers as we explore practical examples and strategies for addressing local challenges, fostering growth, enhancing collaboration, and revitalizing communities. The language of the meeting will be German, and there will be German-English interpretation service available for international audience.
