Family at the centre: the role of the Region and the Municipalities

A family-friendly territory is a welcoming and attractive territory towards families and the subjects who interact with it. It is a territory in which families, thanks to an important network of services and economic support interventions, can realize their life plans.

The realization of this model requires that the policies are implemented according to interdisciplinary and subsidiary approaches through the valorisation of the skills and knowledge of all the actors of the territory: families, subjects of the third sector, municipalities and businesses. With this in mind, the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, one year after the approval of the law on the family, is promoting this meeting aimed at setting up a family network open to all public administrations, third sector entities and private individuals to enhance and disseminate good practices that place the family at the centre.
Making use of the collaboration of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Region is launching a series of activities aimed concretely at the promotion and development of a network of Municipalities which are friends of the family also in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

The event will be held on Monday 12 December, at 2.30 pm at the Comelli Auditorium, via Sabbadini 32, Udine
