“Baby pit stop” in Todi (Italy): A space dedicated to parents and children is born

A space dedicated to parents and children, where they can find welcome and moments of relaxation. The Movement for Life, with the collaboration of the municipal administration, inaugurates on December 8 the first “Baby Pit Stop” in Todi at the Tourist Information and Reception Point (IAT).

“We want to give a concrete signal of support and assistance to mothers in our municipality and to all mothers who come to visit our city. Ensuring this aid to motherhood and nascent life with accessible and comfortable spaces for breastfeeding and childcare confirms Todi’s vocation in favor of the family,” said Daniela Durastanti President of the MPV Todi.

Dedicated areas will provide not only chairs and pillows for breastfeeding and changing tables for changing diapers, but also play areas and a small library to entertain older children. The intent is to give new mothers a quiet place where they can stop in complete relaxation and be welcomed by finding everything they need for their little ones’ needs.

There will be two Baby Pit Stops planned one at the IAT and one located at the Lorenzo Leonj Municipal Library. They are Places to stop and refuel, where mothers, fathers and children will be welcome and welcomed with reserve and discretion.”

“The Municipality of Todi, already certified as a Family Friendly Municipality, with this initiative continues to work in a direction that has long been traced in favor of the family, a project line that we hope will become a national priority as soon as possible,” concluded Daniela Durastanti.
